Practical Performance Management

Have you heard that you can't improve what you can't measure?  And if you take that one step further, you could say that without facts and data, you're just another person with an opinion.  At Quality Outcomes, our job is to help you identify and measure facts and data, convert them into knowledge and turn that knowledge into positive action.

Quality Outcomes, LLC provides a practical, comprehensive performance management plan that meets all CMS requirements for accreditation. Our unique process allows us to tailor the plan to your organization while maintaining enough consistency among all of our clients to begin establishing baselines for patient care expectations. These baseline responses provide a powerful tool against which your organization can benchmark its performance. Results will be tabulated and reports provided, allowing the organization to assess its performance.

The quality standards require that each supplier develop and implement a performance management system that measures its effectiveness and efficiency in meeting organizational goals, compliance with its policies and procedures, as well as Federal, State, and local law requirements. The supplier should compare projected results to actual results, investigate any deviations from plans, evaluate individual staff performances, examine progress toward meeting stated organizational objectives, and implement corrective actions. The standards define six (6) additional, specific areas of focus and 13 sub-areas. We have the tools, skills and experience to formulate a plan to not only meet the requirements, but to improve your organizational performance.

Have you identified your aspects of care? Are you measuring your indicators? Are you adjusting your practice based on your findings? Studies have shown that a typical manufacturing operation (your lab) loses about 18% of it's total operating cost through waste and inefficiency. We can help you identify areas for savings and improve your bottom line. Service industries (the rest of your practice), on average, can save about ten percent of their total operating costs through increased efficiency.
